Am I a toddler again or what????

So last night I whizzed in the bed. Yes, you heard that (or read it) right. I pissed the bed. Me, a 31 year old woman....I did just that! LOL I don't know what the deal was.

When I first woke up I thought...'Man, I am not dying to pee like usual. That ROCKS!' LMAO Little did I know that I was about to discover Niagra Falls in my underwear. Holy Hannibel! When I stood up I felt something dripping on my feet. At first I got scared and figured I was surely bleeding to death. So I ran for the bathroom and I know it was dripping along the way. I was like 'Great, blood all over the carpet.' When I got to the bathroom I looked down and whatever it was on my feet was clear. Did my water just break? No, wait...I am not pregnant! LMAO So I take my underwear off to get in the shower (and to investigate...who am I kidding?) and I had to perform a sniff test. YIKES!! It was confirmed...it was urine and I had officially pissed the bed. Aye ya ya!

Michael got up later to get ready for work and I told him what happened. First thing out of his mouth was 'DID YOU GET THE BED WET???' Umm...you aren't worried about my bladder? Just about the bed? So I checked and I didn't get the bed wet. How does that happen? How can my underwear be so wet and the bed completely dry? It's a mystery to me.

So what happened to me? Did I dream I was on the toilet? Is this the start of incontinence? I never had that problem during or even right after pregnancy.

Guess this is gonna stay a mystery and I am going to invest in some Depends and a carpet cleaner! LOL

It's PICTURE TIME...

We had Callie's picture made last weekend and they turned out fairly well. I had been meaning to get them made for her first birthday but alas she is 14 months old and I'm just now getting around to it. Oh well...I did it, right? Nobody will ever know...she certainly hasn't changed all that much in 2 months.

To add to the fun, she was completely against picture taking that day. We did end up with a few really small smiles but she is normally a big goof ball and I don't feel like that shows through in the pictures. She is still gorgeous to me and the pictures are supa cute. So of course we have to drop loads of cash to buy prints. It is par for the course, right? No matter if they are great pics or lousy ones as a parent you think they are the cutest things you've ever seen and you feel obligated to spend copious amounts of cash to hand one out to everyone you know and even a few that you don't know. LOL

Anyway...I included a few at the top of this post. This is only a sampling. I couldn't copy some of them from the website. Oh...and we got them made at Linda's Lasting Moments. She was great!

My mom ROCKS!!! (we already knew that though, right?)

So yesterday my mom had to pick Callie up from daycare. Since this is the first week at the new daycare we are all still learning the ropes. She goes in and goes to the room and no Callie. I guess they had moved her to the room next door because her regular teacher had a family emergency. No biggie. So she sees my mom standing at the door and starts crawling and screaming (a happy scream, mind you) to the door. In the meantime, I guess the teacher tells my mom she will have to go back out front and sign her out before she can take her. My mom said when she came back Callie was standing at the door behind the gate with her head hanging down and big crocodile tears. So pitiful!! She said as soon as she said her name she looked up and was smiling and waving bye to the rest of the kids. Cute cute cute!!

To move on to the rockin' part. If you read my post yesterday then you know that I have a long commute home....and Michael was working yesterday so I stopped by my mom's to pick up Callie AND Winston (cause my mom went and got him after work so he wouldn't be alone - HA!!) I walk in the house and my mom has dinner on the table and Callie is sitting in her high chair eating. NICE!!!! While I am eating she goes on to give Callie a bath and dries her hair with the hair dryer and curls it with the curling iron. WTF??? It was cute though!

When I got home all I had to do was give her a bottle and her breathing treatment and then I sacked out in the recliner. Yeah...not that it was all that relaxing with 25 boxes piled up around me from the move but nonetheless it was nice to just sit down for a few minutes and chill.

I think I'm gonna like my mom picking Callie up if I can get a repeat!! Is this what it would be like to have a wife? If so....I am GAME!!!!

My first post!!!!

Hello World!! I guess I have officially joined the interweb as they call it. This blog thing is new...so bear with me! Oh hell! Who am I kidding? I'll be a pro at this in no time at all!

I guess I have actually joined two new groups...I am also now a commuter. Ummm..yeah....That group is not so exciting. Yesterday was my first day commuting about an hour each way to my job. You ask why I am commuting now? Because we moved to be closer to my family! YAY on that account! I guess Michael and I have sort of switched roles. He now works about a mile from home and I am joining the ranks of those who single-handedly keep the oil tycoons in business!!

All of that driving does give you a lot of time to think and reflect....oh yes, and to be asleep at the wheel!! AHHHH!!! Getting up at 4:30am BLOWS BIG DONKEY BALLS!! I will say though that it's nice to actually get showered and dressed for work in some peace and quiet. I am so used to having to wrestle Callie and kick Winston that I have found myself almost screaming 'NO!!' at the medicine cabinet and kicking the toilet. Bet that medicine cabinet wouldn't laugh at me like Callie does and bet that toilet wouldn't keep doing what I told it not to like Winston does!! :-) Ok...I don't actually kick Winston or wrestle Callie but I used to feel like I had run a marathon by the time I actually got to work. Now I just feel like I sat for the duration of a marathon. Never realized how much my ass would hurt from sitting 2 1/2 hours per day in a car...not even counting sitting at work. I can deal with the hurting ass....that's what Tylenol is for. It's the ever expanding ass that I am afraid of!! I already get like zero physical activity - now it will be even less. How do I combat that? My coworker goes to Curves and wants me to join. I'll have to think on that one!!!

Ok...back to the commuting...I somehow got sidetracked. I do that easily as you'll probably notice! Speaking of noticing...I am certainly a 'rabbit hunter' as my dad used to call it. I do more rabbit hunting than watching the road so I notice A LOT of stuff. One thing that has me perplexed is the old guy that has been sitting on his porch for the last two mornings at like 6am. Why does anyone sit on their front porch at that hour? It's not like he is sitting out there drinking coffee in his jammies. He is out there ready for the day with his Dickies shirt and pants on and even a cap and boots. Yes, I am very observant. Even at 70 mph!! LOL Granted, his house is no bigger than my car...but why oh why does anyone sit outside so early in the morning. Maybe he just likes to watch traffic? I have waved at him both days so far. I can see this continuing. Well, I'll wave if I have my eyes open as I pass him - you know that whole asleep at the wheel bit!! :-) Maybe I'll stop one day and see just what he is up to. Heck, maybe I'll even take a seat there and see what the view is like!!!
